When
Kumbayah isn’t working. . . . . . .
WHY is it challenging
for people to collaborate? The answer is simple: we are all different.
Whether you are trying to create a consortium, build a community
board, improve service delivery to families and children, bring
parts of your agency or organization closer together, or link
services to best practices, everyone has their own perspective
and priorities. A professional facilitator can help you in those
stormy stages of new projects or renegotiations by offering unbiased
guidance and technical support. What if child welfare and TANF
workers could collaborate more easily on case planning, resulting
in even better services to clients and sounder fiscal management
for the agency? What if you left meetings feeling positive and
accomplished? What if links and coordination among community resources
were routine and efficient? As funds dwindle and demands for services
increase, the need for collaborative and creative solutions becomes
both obvious and crucial. But, how do you get this accomplished??
Alas, holding hands and singing Kumbayah just doesn’t work
anymore! Let the Colorado Collaborative Partnership (CCP) assist
your agency, organization, or community in forming healthy, effective,
and durable partnerships!
CCP is a joint venture
between the Colorado Department of Human Services and
